Leading iGaming content aggregator, Pragmatic Play, has been busy launching new games and closing deals all year. On May 3, 2022, the company announced an agreement with Stake to create a purpose-built dedicated live studio. So, what’s cooking in this new partnership?

Pragmatic Play Inks Live Dealer Studio Deal with Stake

Live studio with Stake branding

With cut-throat competition in the live casino industry, casinos and game developers are looking for new ways to boost their market reach. And one way of increasing their gaming options is by building brand-new studios.

Following the deal, Pragmatic Play and Stake.com will partner to deliver a full live studio with an authentic gaming experience. The 12-table studio with Stake branding will include 10 blackjack tables, a Speed Baccarat table, and one roulette table.

But why Stake instead of other live online casino game operators? First, Stake is a community-based platform with broad market reach in Canada, South America, Brazil, and more. This will definitely help Pragmatic Play reach more players in regulated territories and expand its fan base.

In addition, Stake is one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency casino and sports betting platforms. The deal will see players finally play Pragmatic Play’s live casino games with digital coins like Litecoin, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and Bitcoin Cash.

Official Statements from Pragmatic Play and Stake

According to Yossi Barzely, Pragmatic Play’s Chief Business Development Officer, Stake has been growing swiftly in the online gaming scene since its launch in 2017.

The official continued that Pragmatic Play is thrilled to partner with Stake in creating a Live Casino studio. Barzely said they are looking forward to delivering a gaming experience that matches Stake’s brand.

Stake’s Co-founder, Edward Craven, also had something to say. He commented that Pragmatic Play had shown commitment to ensuring that all of their needs were met in the deal.

Craven continued that Pragmatic Play’s dedicated studios perform excellently in the global market, making this deal an important milestone for the company. He concluded that the company couldn’t wait to go live and highlight its unique capabilities.

In other related news, Pragmatic Play announced on June 6 that it had improved its agreement with Roobet to create a dedicated studio. The partnership will see the two entities develop a 5-table studio, including one roulette and four blackjack tables.

It’s also important to note that these are not the first deals of this kind for Pragmatic Play. The company has had similar agreements with Mansion, 888, 1xbet, and Kindred. Pragmatic Play is currently operational in over 20 locations, and the games are available in over 30 languages.

More tables for live blackjack fans

Have you played Live Speed Blackjack by Evolution? If you haven’t, you’re missing out big time. This game keeps your heart beating with anxiety as the dealer rips through the cards with just a few seconds between game rounds. You might even think there’s a fast-forward motion in the game.

On June 1, Pragmatic Play announced the debut of its own Speed Baccarat game. As expected, the game boasts exciting features that bring new twists and turns into the classic live blackjack game. Like Evolution’s version, it’s a fast-paced game that reduces the duration between rounds by up to 30%. Players can also make Auto-Decisions based on strategies like hitting and standing.

Speed Blackjack is streamed in real-time from the developer’s Rubi Study, which has lately become popular among players. The state-of-the-art studio is already home to multiple standard and VIP blackjack games.

Here is what Yossi Barzely has to say about the game:

“Bringing new gaming opportunities to players is at the core of what we aim to do at Pragmatic Play, and we’re very pleased to grow the footprint of our catalog further with the launch of our new product, Speed Blackjack. The performance of our Live Casino offering is a great success story, and we are keen to capitalize further on the luxury environment.”
