Evolution Gaming continues to dominate the live dealer gambling world, especially after acquiring competitors like Ezugi and NetEnt. But since launching its first live dealer game in May 2019, Pragmatic Play has been on a drive to share the spoils. The company boasts numerous live games, the latest being the Spanish Live Roulette.

Pragmatic Play Premieres Spanish Roulette to Expand Its Live Casino Offerings

On September 28, 2022, the leading iGaming content aggregator announced the launch of its first Spanish Roulette live variant. This aligns with Pragmatic Play’s long-term ambition to conquer the Spanish-speaking regulated gambling territories.

In the press release, the company announced that the live roulette game is available to play 24/7 at its partner casinos. The game is streamed from Pragmatic Play’s state-of-the-art live casino studio in Bucharest, Romania. Spanish Roulette marks the fifth language Pragmatic Play has released the classic casino game.

Spanish Roulette as a Valuable Asset

Speaking after the launch, Pragmatic Play’s Chief Operating Officer, Irina Cornides, said the company continues to enjoy impressive global growth, and it’s imperative they offer a lot of flexibility in their products and services. The official commented that providing a Spanish live casino experience is a “valuable asset” as they continue to welcome new players and customers.

The brand-new live roulette game delivers a superior gaming experience, including traditional bet options like red/black, odd/even, column bets, etc. The game also features special roulette bets like Finales a Cheval and Final en Plain.

As usual, Pragmatic Play’s latest live casino addition features Live Chat Support. This feature lets their Spanish-speaking players chat with the professional live dealer in real time. Overall, this new game will boost Pragmatic Play’s rapidly growing presence in Latin America and beyond.

Bulgaria's Live Casino Studio is Now Open

In other news that proves Pragmatic Play’s ambitiousness in the live casino industry, the operator announced on September 19 the launch of its Bulgarian live casino studio. Bulgaria is Pragmatic Play’s home country, so this launch is a critical milestone in the company’s global expansion bid.

The brand-new studio will stream most Pragmatic Play live casino games, like Andar Bahar, Mega Roulette, Dragon Tiger, ONE Blackjack, and other live casino variants. The game developer promises an immersive live gaming experience thanks to leading audio technology and 4K cameras.

In the meantime, the gaming powerhouse is looking to employ more than 2,000 people by the end of 2023 in this state-of-the-art facility in Sofia. The latest studio follows in the footsteps of others in Bucharest, Serbia, and Gibraltar. The company also recently expanded its Malta office.

After the launch, Irina Cordines said:

“We’re delighted to announce the opening of our new Bulgarian location, right in the heart of the capital, Sofia. It is an important step for us as we look to both expand the capacity of our Live Casino operations and intend to work with the fantastic talent in Bulgaria.

She continued: “We’re proud of the strides made as a business since our inception, and this marks another exciting chapter for Pragmatic Play.”

A New Country Director for Peru

Pragmatic Play recently appointed a new Country Director for Peru. The company appointed Celeste Arredondo to lead its Peru operations as it continues to bolster its Latin American team.

The new Country Director has tremendous experience, having previously held senior offices in local gambling operations. She will join the ballooning team captained by Victor Arias, Pragmatic Play’s VP of Latin American operations.

Arias said that the new Country Director for Peru boasts a wealth of experience and knowledge across multiple iGaming roles. He continued that the Peru market has been on Pragmatic Play’s radar for a while, and the company is looking forward to rapid growth in its already-established foothold.
