Launched in 1994, Microgaming is currently one of the most prominent online live casino software suppliers. The company boasts 800+ high-performing games spread across more than 120 online casino and live casino websites.
That aside, Microgaming announced on 15 July 2021 that it had successfully roped in Julie Allison as Director of Markets in a bid to continue its global dominance. So, what does this new appointment add to the table?
Following the agreement, Julie Allison brings her vast knowledge to the already high-flying Microgaming. Previously, she held top positions on prominent names like NetEnt, Red Tiger, and Paddy Power Betfair.
Armed with ten years of experience, Ms. Allison will be a cog pillar in Microgaming’s mission to expand into new regulated markets. She takes the helm of the company’s marketing department at a time when business is booming.
Julie Allison’s fast task is to steer the company through the ongoing gambling regulation changes in regulated markets like the UK, Germany, and Sweden. In addition, she will provide strategic direction to expand and sustain the company’s foothold in new and existing markets.
According to Microgaming’s COO, Andrew Clucas, Julie’s appointment brings a wealth of solid vision and commercial expertise gained through the years in B2B and B2C. He continued that the company is excited to welcome her and is looking forward to a cordial working relationship.
On the other hand, Julie couldn’t hide her excitement after being confirmed as the Director of Markets at Microgaming.
She said, “Microgaming already holds an impressive position in the global marketplace, so it’s exciting to be able to build on such a strong foundation. I’m looking forward to getting started with guiding Microgaming’s future markets vision, proactively embracing new regulation, and supporting customers as they too prepare for change.” All the best to her!
Meantime, Microgaming continues to bring in new allies to boost its global appeal. On 14 July, the developer announced an agreement with Doggo Casino, a new flagship brand of DoubleUp Group. This online live casino promises a super-intuitive gaming experience backed up by Microgaming’s award-winning titles.
Double Group was founded in 2020 in the Netherlands and is already one of the most respected Malta-based gaming companies. This deal means that Microgaming’s reach to Dutch players is now more possible than ever. And, of course, Microgaming’s titles are a must-have to any serious online casino.
Back in May, Microgaming announced that it would increase its game distribution in Italy after inking a deal with BLOX. The company is a popular platform and content provider in the Italian gaming market. It delivers gaming content to prestigious Italian online casino operators like Betagioco.it
Under the deal, Microgaming’s 50+ titles will go live on the impressive game aggregator’s library. BLOX currently includes a full-blown lineup of games from respected names like Yggdrasil Gaming, Pragmatic Play, and Evolution Gaming.
It’s not every day that you’ll hear Microgaming announcing a brand-new table game. Well, in October last year, the company introduced a collection of poker games to boost its table game verticals. The entire suite includes fantastic titles like Hold’Em Poker and Lucky Showdown.
If you choose to play Hold’Em Poker, you’ll enjoy an immersive poker experience inside a realistic poker room. The fast-paced game introduces a progressive that seeds at a whopping €25,000. Also, you’ll participate in a €5 buy-in Sit & Go tournament.
According to John Coleman, Microgaming’s CEO, Hold’Em Poker will bring a brand-new gaming direction to online casino players. He said that the game is a sure proof of the company’s commitment to innovate and diversify its content offering. No doubt about that!
